The CTO research library comprises a collection of approximately 5000 titles. These titles are representative of a General Tourism Collection, a General Caribbean Tourism Collection and individual CTO Member Country Tourism information. The collection also comprises of regional and international journals, newsletters, magazines, newspapers, and audio-visual material (promotional videos, videos on tourism education and training, CTO conferences, Sustainable tourism, etc.)

The CTOlib is the main database created using CDS/ISIS software. To date, it is populated with 18% of the collection (general tourism collection and part of the Caribbean general tourism collection). Other titles are in the process of conversion and data entry into the database.

The material is catalogued according to the Anglo American Cataloguing Rules, and shelved by subject using the Universal Decimal Classification System (UDC).

The CTO publishes studies and reports on the Caribbean tourism industry and developments in source markets from time to time.

Each year, the Caribbean Tourism Statistical Report is compiled by the Research and Information Managment Department. This 300 page document contains a wealth of information on the Caribbean tourism industry, including analyses of cruise and stay over arrivals, expenditure, accommodation, etc.
